R&B Line Dance Class Schedule

DSU offers instructional R&B Line Dance classes at Emmanuel Family Life Center, and Kleeman and Burt Community Centers in Clarksville, TN..

Let us help you prepare for the seasons of social events with elegance. We offer simplified group line dance instruction, tailored for individuals without dance experience. R&B Line Dancing is not just one of the easiest workouts, it is one of the best ways to stay fit and healthy - mind, body and soul! Initial steps can be mastered in less than an hour. Instructional classes include the basic steps and turns, and other necessary fun routines.

These classes are an enjoyable and progressive workout with style and rhythm. Brush up on your dance skills and share these and other short routines during social gatherings while engaging in a continuous cardio workout.

Dress comfortably for class and bring water with you to stay hydrated. It is highly recommended that you consult with your personal doctor the state of your health and physical ability before participating in any of these classes. Private classes are offered upon request.

Disclaimer: Times and instructional fees are subject to change at venue's discretion.

The Benefits of Joining Us in Class

It can breathe new life into a tired soul; make a spirit soar; unleash locked-away creativity; unite generations and cultures; inspire new friendships or rekindle old ones; trigger long-forgotten memories; and turn sadness into joy, if only during dance.

On a more physical level, line dancing can give you a great mind-body workout. Researchers are learning that regular physical activity in general can help keep your body, including your brain, healthy as you age.

Exercise increases the level of brain chemicals that encourage nerve cells to grow. And dancing that requires you to remember dance steps and sequences boosts brain power by improving memory skills. Source: AARP Health
